Kalaman Ltd is one of the leading exporters of wet salted and chilled cattle hides from Ireland throughout the world. We also supply wet salted horse hides and face masks if required.

Paul Ronan, Director, has over 35 years experience in the hide and tanning industry with John Ronan & Sons the predecessor to Kalaman Ltd.

Ireland is world renowned for the quality of its cattle hides which are reared in a climate conducive to good grain quality and also benefits from highly regulated animal husbandry and traceability.

Hides emanate from large meat plants in Ireland using state of the art machine pullers and operate to the highest standards.

Our hides are weighed, graded and salted and packed to the specific requirements of our customers.

Because of their quality the hides are widely used for automotive upholstery leather, shoe leather and harness leather.
